Played in the Jim Sherman this past weekend at Wallace Marine in Salem. Fields were prepped after every game, clean bathrooms and dugouts, very approachable SSUSA staff on hand, really good umpiring for the most part including 2 man crew for 'ship, excellent prize package given out and really good softball being played, with class, by teams like Wilson out of Idaho and Cornerstone out of Oregon. It was a pleasure competing against you guys. Have a great 'rest of season'. Jim Perry-Doerflinger Softball

Hi Jim:

We played in the 65s earlier in the week and the SSUSA and ground crew did a great job for us also. We also had a very good group of umpires.

Anybody know who won the 50s, 55s and 60s?

Thanks:

James

Thanks Dave:

Great job by everybody involved in this tournament. The grounds grew worked hard to keep the infields lined and smooth as possible.
The only thing lacking was the new ball.

Thanks:

James

The grounds crew were OUTSTANDING. One of the best I have ever seen game after game. Thank YOU! The ball was terrible in the 100 degree heat and it wasn't like this wasn't expected. The reason SSUSA went to the new ball was for the exact conditions that existed in Salem this past weekend. Shame on SSUSA for letting this continue. The least you could do is be forthright and honest with us players. This didn't have to happen but you let it happen.

The grounds crew did do a nice job! Turf those fields and they would have a great complex!
