I don't know much about the bat but remember a few guys really liked them. Do any of you know if the barrel was the same as the regular U2 or was it a totally different bat? Thanks: James |

I spoke to a 60M player yesterday who said their team hit a total of 5 HRs at BLD in 5 games. He said if you throw in a new ball every 2-3 innings that will help. Since Major+ players represent a very small % of the field it is more important to hear what the AAA and M players say about the ball. The ones I have spoken to have not had very good things to say about the new ball. I respect the Major+ players but let's be honest they are at a different level that a large majority of most of us. I don't believe players are blaming SSUSA for the shipment of balls not arriving in time for these tournaments. I believe the biggest complaint is there are much better options readily available than the ball we have been using in these tournaments. A used league game ball is a much better options than the Dud we been using. James |

Outfielder can play much shallower cutting off many of the softer hit ball. I believe a mush ball actually makes it easier for the stronger team to beat the weaker one. James |

All you need to do is watch 40s play and then 60+ and you can see where the quality of the ball comes into play. It is true both teams hit the same ball but that does not justify using a sub par ball. Thanks: James |
