Now that the Rocket Launchers have been sent out I was wondering what people think of them.

I have about 50 swings on mine. The 1 1/2 oz end load will take some getting use to. I'm glad I went down an oz as recommended by Kelly's, this is a heavy feeing bat. The bat, IMO, is not hot out of the wrapper but does have decent pop. Looking forward to seeing where performance is after a couple hundred cuts.

I had Kelly's ship my Combat Rocket Launcher directly to St George, UT for the Spring Worlds. The bat is the "Real Deal". 4 of us hit it Saturday morning in batting practice & immediately could tell that how hot the bat is. This bat is the hottest bat that I have ever hit & it still had the wrapper on it.
Our 3rd batter & 1st swing ever in a game, crushed a home run with it. We had just peeled the wrapper off. The bat didn't even have 50 swings on it. I got up next inning with our 4th & 5 runners on base & hit a line drive right at the left center fielder, or so I thought. The ball fooled him & dotted the fence, scoring both runners.
During our 3rd game, I hit my 1st home run using the Rocket Launcher. This bat is the best bat ever, straight out of the wrapper. Only 2 of us on the team swing 26oz bats, so we were the only people using the Launcher. Ben hit more home runs during the tournament than anyone else & he only swung my bat.
We did have 2 of the new Adidas Mellee II's at our disposal to hit, if we wanted to. But they just weren't broken in yet & didn't have the pop the the brand new Launcher had.
Kelly has a winner on his hands with this bat. I can't wIt to see how hot it gets after 100+ swings. I will be trying to get some more swings on it this week. I have a tournament this weekend in Turlock, CA, if anyone wants to swing it hit me up. I also play in the Modesto Senior league on Thursday nights. If you hit it, I know you'll buy it.
For those of you that don't know me, yes I am a friend of Mike Kelly. But for those of me that do know me, you know I have 100+ Senior bats hanging in my garage & I will swing the hottest bats that I can find. I did hit some of the pre-production Launchers & they weren't this hot, straight out of the wrapper.

I have to agree with mark 44 the rocket launcher bat is the best bat I have ever swung out of the wrapper, this bat will be the best bat out for senior softball this year !!!! I just came back from the tournament in manassas,va and I used this bat there all weekend !!! this bat is the real deal !!! if your not swinging one of these bats in senior softball you are cheating your self !!! this bat is real good out of wrapper and only gets better as you use it ,I had 50 swings on it in a cage before I used it in Virginia and let me tell you my first at bat I drove a line drive off the fence (300ft)in about 1.5 seconds like a rocket !!! at that point I was very impressed with the bat.as the tournament went on the bat got hotter and hotter !! WOW WHAT A BAT !!!

I was so impressed I called and ordered 3 more of them just for me !!!!!

Proof reading my post, I stated "This bat is the hottest bat that I have ever hit & it still had the wrapper on it".

I meant to state "This bat is the hottest BRAND NEW IN THE WRAPPER BAT, that I have ever hit.

It may not be as Hott as the Original Gray Ultra, but I bet it will be pretty darn close.

Sorry for the confusion. It is a Great bat right now, I can't wait to get more swings on it. It will be the Hottest Bat on the Market & be legal to use.

I've swung a Miken Ultra II 2 piece the last 2 years and I also like the Reebok Melee and of course the black Ultra II is a traditional performing favorite, but I value my buddy Mark's (War Eagles) reviews on this new Combat Rocket Launcher and ordered one from Kelly's on Monday. I requested it be shipped to my work address. I had the day off today but tracking info says it was delivered today. That is Rocket fast free shipping. I'll demo mine 4-23,24 at our next tourney in Antioch and see if I swing it all weekend or if I feel the need to go back to one of my other bats. Hoping it lives up to the hype.

I ordered a 26ba on Wednesday and it arrived at my door on the right coast less than 48 hours later. I'm really glad that MK talked me into going down in weight because the 26ba feels a lot like my Aftermath OG 28 that I use in ASA. The 26ba weighed 26.3 on my scale, but it's more endloaded than any other bat I own. I don't even want to know how endloaded the el version is!

I hit it back to back with a Dudley 12" on a baseball field 325' all the way around, wind blowing in 10-15MPH, 58 deg., Wheeler Dealer machine pitching Evil 44/375 balls. At first, the Dudley (which had 20 hits on it already) outhit it, but at 12 hits the sound of the RL changed to a loud shotgun crack and it was neck and neck. When both bats had 30 hits, the RL was outhitting the Dudley by about 10'. I put another 20 hits on the RL, and put three over the fence. The fields we play games on are only 275' to 300' so we'll have to be careful not to go over the 3 HR limit!

I noticed that I hit more lazy fly balls with a lot of backspin that carry well with the Dudley, with the RL I hit vicious line drives that would be almost impossible to field. I think it will be a good bat for both high AVG and high SLG. At 50 hits now I think its game ready, but still improving rapidly. No signs of any webbing, cracks, paint flaking or other durability issues. Don't think they'll see this one back!

hi all when you got a new bat u must be more specific everyones talks about Rocket Launcher 1.21 Senior Fully Loaded or balanced and compare with a bat of two pieces for person like me that love to pieces more than one and why cause person like me prefer the flex of 2 pieces vs just one if you are looking for long bomb homers that should be the idea of new technology if we still just want hit we should use alloy.
