55 yr old OF BAT L Throw L, Power, Speed, Arm looking for a game
Heres the Bio....I am moving to Phoenix Jan 31, 2011 and hail from Montana where I have resided for 36 years. I played on the top team in the state, and batted in the 1 to 4 slot since I was 10. I run as well and in Montana, am considered the fastest senior player in the state group, have an arm as good as anyone in our age group and can hit for power and average as well as hit it to the off field as well as anyone in our age group the latter skill being the one most important in the past 20 years. I play in the outfield in left or left center most of the time since my arm is still strong enough to throw to most of the bases from there with power and accuracy but my natural position of right center, that I played for most of my younger days, now leaves me a little short handed on throws to home and third a few times too often . I was an all american the last time our team went to Western Nationals in Spokane. I am hoping to get on a travelling highly competitive team here in Phoenix and meet some guys while playing a game I absolutely love. I am 6.2 and weigh about 220 and generally pull the ball to right field unless I am trying to do something different. I am happy to fill in for fun and let you decide if I make the grade. But it would be my goal to find a top level team. I played baseball in college as a pitcher outfielder and was a wide receiver at the University of Montana in the 70s.

Lots of good teams in Phoenix, but if you have any trouble finding a team we could use a good Outfielder. I'm in Albuquerque and play for a AAA 50's Team out of El Paso, all the same when your traveling. We play in Phoenix, Tucson, Las Crucus,Las Vegas, California and Texas. theBull

Okay, I am finally down here and got my condo, which is in the Papago Park area. I brought my softball bag. I will contact you each. I wrongly assumed I would get notice of replies to my post and didn't know anyone had responded. So today is my first time seeing your messages.

Thanks for your replies. I have sent messages to each of your emails, with the exception of db14, who probably isn't interested anyway.

db14 don't understand the bash on mslacool. The guys telling you what he's got. He must have it cause he's going have to walk the talk when he gets there. Players moving to a new area have to talk about their skills. Most likely no one knows him so this his chance to get his foot in the door and shown them what he's got. Good luck mslacool. I had to try out for a local team in AZ when I was down there last month.
