I would like to express my gratitude to Fran, Anthony - and all of the staff at SSUSA - who handled the news that we had 2 players who had tested positive with professionalism and compassion.
The good news is that both of those players are recovering, and we have had no additional players come back with a positive test at this point.
I also would like to thank the other players and managers that reached out to me personally to check on the health of those 2 players, as well as offer prayers and good wishes for all of the team.
It definitely hasn't been an easy time, but the softball community is strong.
We hope that all softball teams and players from across the land will have continued good health and that we all will be able to continue to play the game that we love.
