On October 10, 2019 Cardot was rated a Major team after winning the 60’s Major World Championship in Vegas. On October 18th, eight days later, Sumari and Windy City who took second and third respectively in the 60’s were moved up to Major Plus. Can I get some clarification on this rating?

Thank You

All teams attending the TOC play at the rating they held when the berth was earned. If a team was later bumped, the true rating will be re-applied at the conclusion of the TOC.

I hope this helps.

This one can't get any more simple ... Cardot/Madalena Construction will be playing in the upcoming Original T.O.C. in February as a 60-Major team, their rating at the time they earned their bid to that event ... At the conclusion of that event, they will be upgraded to 60-Major+ for the balance of the 2020 Season (without appeal rights for a move-down) as the 2019 World Masters Champions in 60-Major ... There are a few other teams similarly situated in other age groups/ratings, ALL of whom will be re-rated in mid-February ...

Maybe there is a Simple Answer to why WE ( the SF Seals 80 team ) went to the Western Nationals and didn't play anyone in our Ranking Bracket but were allowed to Represent the West as the 80 Major Team. But then were Rated as a Major Plus Team when we went to the Championships in Las Vegas? The Rules say that Teams winning a Division of Two Teams will not be moved up But over Three Tournaments moves can be made from beating or losing to Opponents of the same Age and Skill Level by average of Five Runs or more. We did neither of these.
