On a "must be fair" foul ball, how can a runner advance if the ball is caught in foul and is a dead ball out ? I thought no runner can advance on a dead ball.
in SSUSA it is a live ball out just like a fair ball fly out.. many times you will hear the defense yell out let a foul ball go if the batter has 2 strikes with runners on base
