May 18 Capt Kirk 541 posts | Any info on seed game start times for the Heart of Texas Qualifier in Georgetown? Tournament is scheduled to start on 5-21, if the rain gods allow us to play. Capt Kirk |

May 24 J R 251 posts | We were notified at 9am.A lot of our players drove up and turned around and drove home. Best Western let us check out and not pay for the 2nd night. we were told rescheduled for back to back weekends with College Station. |
May 25 Wayne 37 Men's 65 773 posts | Looking at the weather forecast for that weekend, Georgetown should have been called off earlier than what it was. I was lucky to only get charged $25.00 for my hotel cancellations. |
May 25 Line drive 3 posts | In an effort to answer DoubleL10's question let me say that my team wasn't notified until May 19 that we would be playing the mourning of May 21. We were told that we would be playing rain or shine, so I drove the 250 miles from my home to Georgetown on Wed. afternoon and spent the night in a motel. I woke up Thur. mourning to the news that the tournament was canceled! Now it has been rescheduled for back to back weeks with College Station. The answer to your question is absolutely no one is running the tournaments in Texas. Texas members of SSUSA deserve much better than this. |
