Nov. 27 GI Men's 60 228 posts | I just wanted to add a special thanks to all of you who make this game so special in my life. I am so thankful God continues to let me play a small part. I have to again give a super thanks to Senior Softball terry, Fran, Dave and George for helping the children at Sunshine Acres Children's Home golf tournament. It means the world to me that you guys showed a real act of kindness. We had over 200 golfers and a nice supper with Auction. I am really hopeful any that are ever in area of Mesa will come by for a tour. Thanks again all for playing the game I look forward to seeing you in Jan at the PHX tournament. Keep hitting my friends. Gary Ingle |

Nov. 27 hitman Men's 70 339 posts | Thanksgiving is the time to give Thanks for all the health that us Senior Softballers have to be able to play the game at our age and still be highly competitive. Also for our family's, teammates, sponsors and associations that provide venues where we develop the relationships that we have in Senior Softball. Happy Thanksgiving to all, The Hitman #13 |

Nov. 27 Omar Khayyam 1357 posts | taits, thanks for starting this thread. We, of all men our age, should be thankful for our health and the ability to still play. Guys, stop briefly today and pray for all those former teammates of yours who are no longer able to participate in this great sport because of poor health (or worse, no longer in this world). I've lost two friends this month who were still active and now gone! stick8, we began a local winter league last week on Saturdays (you can do this in California), and we will be playing (although the weather might have a different opinion). |
