I'm new to the seniorsoftball site and it's definitely a little bit of an eye-opener! The interaction and overall interest among seniors on the west coast, Arizona, and Florida is big ( as I expected it would be), but for Cincinnati and surrounding area it appears softball stops once you hit the 40's,unless you played major ball (i.e. DeClaire Ins).That's really sad since Cincinnati was once considered a "hotbed" for mens softball. I'll probably check into the Dayton Legend group, but if you hear of anything else, please let me know, the travel/ expense is probably worth it. Thanks again for your reply and if I don't talk to you again, have a great softball season and healthy 2007 !!!! |

| Dec. 28, 2006 JES | Topic: Players looking to join a team Discussion: Looking for 50+ (or 45) team in Greater Cincinnati area Currently play 2 nights a week, but looking to play with "diehard " guys in my age group (52). Still play competitive in C or D, Pitched for about last 13yrs and played left center before that. Not big on ego, but definitely into tourney competition. Left handed hitter, usually hit 2nd or 6th.
