Mike is awesome. Trust me for a comment, These Big Cats are awesome and have great longevity. I use them and sold a lot of my other senior bats. Mike will let you know, I buy a bunch of them because I have teammates on a tournament team and a league team that once they use it, they want them.
All senior bats are good.. but these are amazing.
Look for a large orange bat swinging at a tourney near you!

Discussion: Jimmer Stick

are you dead set on the Jimmer?? I use an Easton thunderstick for 70% of my BP. It is 34 inches long and 37oz.. Great tool to use off of tees and using small golf ball sized wiffle balls off of tees. There is a video on you tube where I challenged some of the texas guys to hit Total Cotrol Balls with it and man did they hit! Great work out even the cardio using TCB and the thunderstick. My teammates call it the Jethro stick.

I found that for me, the ADIDAS turf shoe is awesome. My brother and another teammate with achillies issues love them as well. I believe it is a mid cut (HIGH TOP) to me. awesome on turf, sand, red clay pack coleche soil etc. all around great show. I even golf with them. Bought mine from a good guy in florida on this board!

well, I went to the rule book and read it very carefully and under G. It specifically says that taping into a cone shape is altering the bat.

Discussion: Taping of bat handle.

At a recent Batting Practice, a prospective player had a unique tape job on the handle to his bat. He had removed the original factory grip and replaced it with athletic tape. No problem in the rules with that. However, he had wrapped the tape on the handle and flared it at the knob end without going over the knob. In effect he created a cone of tape about the same size as the store bought plastic/rubber cones that are approved.
My question after reading the illegal bat and altered bat rules is it legal? It adds nice feel to the bat for sure just like the store bought cones.
It doesn't appear to be illegal per the rules as written. The tape job is not over the original grip at all because it (the grip) was removed.

have 3 players committed to this self funded 60s team. Still looking for central Tennessee and eastern Tennessee players. We also would like to get enough locals so as to play in a league in Knoxville or nashville area as well.

Looking at buying some new shirts for senior teams. What is the most comfortable you all have worn? We don't really want to have to wear an under shirt just to make a shirt more comfortable to play in.
