As a retired Fireman that had many an injury, this is a mainstay of my wake up routine. When its real bad I apply before bed, low back shoulder knee, just a little advice, put some saran wrap over so you don't smell up the sheets, can keep the spouse from wringing your neck. Wash hands before bathroom break or rubbing eyes.

Discussion: shaved bats

I'm hoping those that are shaving bats are capable of being able to talk about their winning or placing in a tourney where they hurt or killed someone. I can here it now, well grandson I was hitting the ball well that day and, yeah the bat was shaved and I hurt a guy, but I made all Tourney. Yeah its the patch right there with the blood on it.

Discussion: DARK CLOUDS IN 65 MAJOR PLUS

I have known Doug now for 8 years, my whole experience in SSUSA, I find this highly offensive and petty. Air your grievance in person not on the school yard. I played in session one and as entering the complex on Saturday I picked up a freshly hit home run by a fifty team that had the team name and an LV on it, it was a Rock that was obviously from Vegas. I walked the ball in returned it and pointed out their mistake. The guy was genuinely taken aback, said "holy crap" and I left it at that.

Not all is a conspiracy.

He fixed a lot of bad habits with me also. By fixing these he also fixed between my ears, the two bb's are now in sync.

Discussion: Steve Imlay hitting clinic

Yesterday the 12th of April I had the pleasure of experiencing Steve's hitting clinic. If you get a chance to get attend it is well worth the time and it is inexpensive. I increased my exit speed by 12mph and my confidence 100%.

Bought the 13.5" at the Rock N' Reno in 2013 from Rusty. Love it, only dig is my hand is big and I needed to jerry rig the laces over the wrist. Easy break in

Discussion: Speed up rules

We all have experienced the Human Rain Delay getting into the box, the guy that waits for the ball to get back to the pitcher before he begins his walk up and set up routine, get in the box, grip it and rip it. 1-1 always a good idea.

Call the same hotel ask for a new Casino host, tell them what happened and ask him to look up your account, then ask for same deals. If you play at the casino they will honor the switch

SSUSA Staff, can you shed some light on this rule pertaining to the sun for batters also? It seems to me pitcher has option. Maybe some clarification and if you make the pitcher move to assist batter maybe a little explanation please.

B.J., not looking for a pissing contest but the way I read it if I am allowed yet not required I am not moving. Maybe a poorly writing of the rule, not sure.

The Field Director "ALLOW" the pitcher to pitch from 6 feet out. Well as a pitcher I will choose not to move as it doesn't say "MAKE" me move. In a hitters game with the great majority of rules for the hitter I don't believe I want to give away the best advantage I may see during a game.

Discussion: SCREENS IN TOURNAMENTS

Be careful what you ask for, as a retired fireman of 36 years one thing that is for sure, if it is done in the name of safety it will never be undone. I pitch during BP we use a screen. Personally opposed to screen in play. I have my fair share of dart marks on my chest, belly and the broken and bruised fingers. Sometimes you let one leak out over the plate to a ground ball hitter in hopes of the come backer double play. With the screen that part of the strategy of the game is gone. A few of the marks and injury were the player that hits grounders and tagged one and me. Oh well sometimes we outsmart ourselves. Play safe and have fun.

A great deal of the host hotels have deadlines for booking at the discount rate. Can we get a heads up as to where the different ages and divisions will be playing so we can take advantage of them. I know this is important to the SSUSA as I am asked at all tourney where I am staying. A little time would help.

Discussion: Home plate Mat size change?

As a pitcher it's not big enough, as a hitter it still isn't big enough. Swing the bat. Holy crap the 13 mph fastball is just to tough to hit. Is my bias showing.
