| June 20, 2022 Orlando Lopez | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Cataract Surgery I had cataract surgery in both eyes and I am so glad I did it My ophthalmologist suggested the Monofocal IOL lenses which only correct far away vision. He did not recommend the multi-focal for playing sports. I still have to use reading glasses but my distance vision improved to 20/20. I would recommend you also have the Humphrey Topography done which maps the eyes and helps in selecting the best lens strength for your eyes (it only cost me extra $45.00) Good luck and you will be glad you did it. |
