Important reminder: The US Postal Service is experiencing delays in their deliveries, so please let us know if you intend to play in this tournament. Team lists for tournament are published on the tournament pages at the entry deadline. If your team is not listed, please call immediately. Teams are not officially entered until payment is received.
Refund policy: Entry Fees are non-refundable after the deadline. Full refunds are given to teams withdrawing BEFORE the deadline. NO refunds are given after the deadline.
Note: SSWC reserves the right to combine divisions of three or fewer teams within one age level and/or skill level.
This is a "Ring Option" Tournament.
Five games minimum initially scheduled (not "guaranteed"), with Round Robin into Double Elimination or Three-Game-Guarantee brackets or other acceptable tourney formats.

A team of local reservation specialists will share their knowledge of each property’s amenities; also the best beaches, attractions, shopping, and restaurants.

• Until is it safe to gather in groups of more than 10, SSUSA will forgo all manager meetings. All information pertaining to a specific tournament will be sent to managers via email before the tournament begins. A copy of the Manager Notes will be available in paper copy.
• Managers will receive their updated rosters with the Manager Instructions. It is up to the manager to let the Director know if there are any changes at the field before the team begins playing.
• We will be sending managers new Team Waiver Forms that each player will need to sign before playing, saying they understand softball is a game of risk and that there is always a risk in group activities of contracting viruses or other illnesses.
· Adults 65 years and older and people of any age who have serious underlying medical conditions are strongly encouraged to avoid large crowds.
· Do not come to the event if you or any household member has been exposed to a person with COVID-19 within the past 14 days.
· If tournament staff use any indoor areas for their event (excluding restrooms), the disinfecting and cleaning of the used indoor areas will be performed by the tournament staff
· When there is a lightning delay, all players and spectators shall leave the facility and seek socially distancing safe shelter in their vehicles.
· Depending on field sites and locations there may be areas to cool players who may be suffering a heat related illness. Lee County Parks and Recreation will allow access whenever possible to areas where cooling is conducive and the ability to social distance. Tournament staff will be responsible for disinfect the cooling area after each use. If the tournament has a certified athletic trainer on site they will provide treatment for suspected heat related illnesses. In the event there is not access to cooling facilities and/or there is not an athletic trainer, 911 should be called.
