Jan. 17 SSUSA Staff 3506 posts | r Simply click on the link at the bottom of the 2nd message in this thread ... The one to the right of • Participating Teams" ... That's a direct link, and the same one that is on the TOC Tournament page at the top of the middle column ... |
Jan. 18 stever Men's 70 99 posts | r How does a team that placed 4th in the LVSSA/SSUSA Worlds in 65 Major, and 3rd in the SPA Nationals as a 65 Major team, get to play in the TOC as a 65AAA team? (Levin Financial) |
Jan. 18 SSUSA Staff 3506 posts | r Simple. Teams participate in the TOC at the same age and rating they were when they won the tournament that resulted in earning their TOC bid. The "successes" you mention occurred after the team was re-rated to Major and after their win in Reno at AAA. |
Jan. 18 southernson 280 posts | r SSUSA, Thanks for getting this information out early so we can plan ahead for travel and lodging. Just an fyi, it appears that the Teams link does not support Back from a browser. That's my experience as of 1/18/13. |
Jan. 20 outfielder Men's 65 59 posts | r I see from the participation list in the 65 AAA that Levin Financial out of Fl and Midwest trucking from Ne are listed in the 65AAA bracket but on the team ratings they are rated as major, seems like I remember Levin Financial playing in the AAA pool play in the SPA in Dalton till it was found that they were rated as Major, what's up with this |
Jan. 21 SSUSA Staff 3506 posts | r The TOC teams, as mentioned above, play at the same age/rating as they were when they won the tournament that resulted in them earning their bid. We do not change the online ratings to "back date" them for purposes of the TOC, which is a 2012 event. The online ratings are the current ratings, not to be confused with the TOC classifications. The two teams mentioned are properly classified, both currently and for the TOC. As for the SPA Dalton tournament, please call them directly for any required clarification on your part. |
