April 11 SCUBA 83 posts | Senior Softball Players, Menifee Valley Upper Division Senior Softball is a Monday morning softball league for seniors 55+. Games are played at Wheatfield Park in Menifee, CA and at the Big League Dreams Sports Park in Perris, CA. Traveling teams have the option of playing once a week or playing doubleheaders every other week. We use SSUSA tournament rules and approved bats; e.g. Miken Ultra II is OK. The Spring Season is scheduled to start on April 30, 2012. The league is open to tournament caliber players. It consists of teams/players from the Menifee Valley, Palm Springs, Hemet, and North San Diego County areas, and walk-ons. Tournament teams are invited to participate. For less than the cost of the average tournament, teams will receive competitive tournament style play, more games, and great prizes. If you are interested in participating as an individual or team, please contact: Steve Baranick, 951-677-0428 (home), 951-870-0114 (cell), steve519333@yahoo.com. April 12 Marv19 Men's 60 498 posts | Batter4u: Your going to love your softball choices in this valley. Along with Steve's League on week days there is a night league in Temecula and at least one tournament every weekend now through Feb of 2013. I also understand there is a Hemet league on Wednesdays along with Tuesdays and Thursdays at The Wheat. Additionally there are plans for night senior softball league in French Valley next year as well. Yes indeed senior softball is very much alive and well in the Temecula, Hemet, Menifee, Murrieta valleys. Come join the fun. Steve puts on a quality league and works very hard for the guys here. BTW if your a golfer you have I think 9 courses in a 15 mile radius. How about fishing? Diamond valley is the largest man made lake in california plus Vail and Skinner near by. Enjoy my friend enjoy :O) |
