What is the rule / guideline for players that reside in 2 states? I think it is called the "Snowbird" rule for players that live in the north during the warmer weather and escape the cold to the south in the winter. Thanks for helping to clarify this.

LEF #2 ... There are several criteria that may assist you in determining your "home" state as opposed to your "snowbird" state ... The partial list of factors that would indicate your "home" state include:

• The address on your federal income tax return;
• The address on your "Resident" or Part-year Resident" state income tax return if you live in state(s) requiring a return;
• The state that issued your current driver's license;
• The state where you are (or could be legally) registered to vote;
• The state where you spend the majority (= more than half) of the year in actual residency ...
