Las Vegas - 60 AAA - National/American Pod
How do you know which POD your team is in for the 60AAA Brackets? I see National Pod is at BLD and American Pod is at Sunset on Friday.....Thanks

Please pay a little closer attention, Chuck ... I've answered this specific inquiry on multiple occasions in the past few days ... Regarding your 42-team 60-AAA bracket, SSUSA doesn't determine which teams end up in each pod ... YOU DO ... In some of the super-brackets, typically 50-AAA and 40-Major, I have a randomization scheduling sub-routine I wrote that separates the teams by both state and geographic region, dropping them in the pods prior to seeding and bracket play, but that's not the case for you this year ... That's a discussion for another day ...

• We're going to play the Thursday seeding games and those results become the basis upon which the teams are assigned to each bracket pod ... The teams are ranked from #1 through #42 ...
• The Winner of the USA game is the #1 Seed in the National bracket pod ... From there it is a "serpentine draft" ... USA game runner-up is #1 Seed in the American bracket pod ... Third seed is #2A, fourth seed is #2N, fifth is #3N, sixth is #3A, back and forth until all 42 teams are bracket slotted ...
• The pods remain separate until Sunday morning, where cross-over match ups occur in both the Championship and Elimination brackets to avoid rematches ...
• Remember, I am solely responsible for who you play on Thursday, except for the USA teams who earned their own way on merit to the National Championship game ... But YOU are solely responsible for who you play after Thursday ... Even if that may be a team you played on Thursday! ... Good luck!

While I completely understand the "You Do" explanation AND the serpentine draft... What I don't understand is,, in the alphabet system "A" come before "N", so how is it that, the serpentine draft starts with the National Pod (first) ahead of the American Pod ?? Yes, I know, too much time on my hands....

S.F. Giants are National League. NY Yankees are American League. That alone should forever define the correct pecking order in this type of analysis.
