Discussion: How does one earn entry for the USA NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP GAME

During the Vegas worlds they have the West vs East USA NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP GAME, how does one earn a birth in this game? I see it each year and have never asked how they determine the 2 teams that play one another.
By [1] winning your division at either of the recent Eastern (Loudoun County, VA) or Western (Sacramento & Placer Counties, CA) National Championships tournaments or [2] by being the only team in your age/rating that participated in either of those tournaments prior to attending in Las Vegas ... The USA National games are step #2 of the Triple Grand Slam process, along with that Eastern/Western title and then winning your bracket in Las Vegas ...

What is the 3rd step, Florida TOC champion?
The 3rd step is winning your bracket at the World Championships in Las Vegas ... Steps are: [1] Being an Eastern or Western Champion ... [2] Winning the USA National Game and [3] Winning your bracket in Las Vegas
Thank you Dave
Have you considered adding the Midwest Champions.
It has been delegated out for further research and there are RFP's (Request For Proposal) out to multiple municipalities ... Those have lots of minimum financial incentive, facility, hotel and other criteria for an area to meet to be considered ... This question is asked frequently (and that's fine), but the first two sentences of this post likely won't change until sometime in early December when the National Convention occurs ... Assuming there is an acceptable response to the RFP's, then the matter will go before the National Rules Committee ... It's not as simple as tossing a dart at a map of the USA and having that be it! ... We'll keep you posted ...

Dave, please let me know if any help is needed for the midwest area national championships and those rfp's and/or who can i speak with there at Sacramento. I have spoken some with Nic there...
