We were informed yesterday that the Hopkins Road Complex for the Northeast Championship will be charging a fee for parking per car at the complex so I wanted players or carloads to be prepared to pay for parking as you enter the complex

That's not terribly surprising, and did come as a surprise to us ... There's "new" operational management at Hopkins Park this year and they're not the first facility to impose fees and/or increase existing ones post-pandemic ... And let's clear this up on the front end: The SSUSA's share of those parking revenues is EXACTLY ZERO and SSUSA had NO ROLE in the imposition or calculation of the fee structure ... Should you choose to comment on the fees while on site, our Director staff is not the appropriate target for that process ... Good luck everyone!

I was there today. Players did not have to pay. Unless something changes after today, that is the policy. Yes, the park is under new operational management this year. I play there on Monday and Wednesday. Please do not confuse "new" with "better".
