Feb. 12 Stbetterton 20 posts | senior vs asa. my teammates and I had a discussion concerning senior vs asa bats. My belief is senior ball would not be as popular if we had to use asa bats and 52/300 balls instead of senior bats. They think it would still be as popular. what do some of you guys think. |

I play in two leagues currently, one allows Senior 1.21 bats as well as any other stamped bats 1.20 whether ASA or USSSA. The other league only ASA stamped bats. The key point here is both leagues use 44/375 balls. In my personal experiences the 52/300 ball is just not as much fun to play with because of their inherent performance characteristics. I have two Easton ASA bats that perform very well but the Adidas and Dudley Sr bats that I use have noticeable increase amount of pop and carry. |

If you were to have 2 leagues or tournaments in the same area 1 using ASA/USA sanctioned bats and balls and then 1 using SSUSA bats and balls I believe that SSUSA would outdraw them easily 10 to 1 |
