If a player has never been rated or played, what is his rating if he joins a AA team in his age bracket?

SSUSA does NOT "rate" players, but we DO keep track of the rating level of each team a player participates with at the time of his participation ... A completely "new to SSUSA" player enters the system at a presumed "AAA" experience rating history for 50+ ages OR at "Major" for 40-Masters Men since there is no 40-AA Rating level ... The player in your hypothetical could be on a AA roster as one of the three maximum allowed out-of-rating players for that team ... NOTE: That presumptive initial AAA level may be raised higher if, for example, we find him listed on a "Conference Level" roster, or the USA/ASA/USSSA "Open" or similar higher-skilled rating lists ...
