our team is from canada and with the canada u.s. border closed until late august the chances of getting to a qualifier are very remote - will we be granted a berth in las vegas with past tournament history or are we out of luck for this year - are there any exemptions for this pandemic

The answer is going to depend on a lot of factors affecting your team and roster and it's not a good idea to try the "one size fits all" approach here ... Plus, the decision-makers you need to talk with "don't do the Message Board" ... Good luck! ...
