Discussion: Tidewater Classic 40s
Will the 40s definitely start play on Friday? I know we're old, but we are still working.
The 40s began on Friday in 2018 and 2019. I'd expect the same this year, too.
Tim - At what time will the 40s begin play on Friday? Can you give an estimate? If its late afternoon then maybe some folks will be able to work at least part of the day.
I can't answer that question because 1) I'm not writing the schedule for the Tidewater tournament and 2) registrations are being taken for another week.
I can tell you that 40s seed games began at 1pm last year and that we were off the fields by 6:00. The City of VB leagues have priority use of the fields on weeknights.
