Tim - At what time will the 40s begin play on Friday? Can you give an estimate? If its late afternoon then maybe some folks will be able to work at least part of the day.

What if the ball went out of play after hitting the bat. Does the B/R get 2nd base?

Discussion: Playing back to a lower class

I've always said the same thing Ozzy the upper team gets a double whammy. It's already hard enough to win giving up 5 runs and then to lose HR makes it even more difficult. I am also good with giving up the 5 runs, but not both. There have been plenty of games where we score the max of 5 runs every inning and by the open inning we are still losing by 4-5 runs and out of home runs. Not much to do but play and deal with it.

Discussion: 2015 dudley thunder compared to the new ones they are selling

I have one of the old 2015 Dudley's and love it. When that one cracks there is no way I buy one of the new Dudley's knowing the history. Will probably go with a Miken or Adidas bat

Discussion: Senior Softball Tournament Prizes

Yes prize packages are weak for the tournaments I've played in the past especially for the amount of money paid for entry fees. Not so worried about trophies, but when players are playing for 2-3 days it would be nice to get a shirt, wind-breaker, or bat bags for wining the tournament. Second place should definitely get at least shirts.
*Although we did get nice wind-breakers for winning the VA beach tournament this year, I guess it depends on who is running the tourney. Thanks Timmy!
