Most of my team decided to move up to 55, and now its time to find a different team that is looking for an outfielder. I am out of central Illinois my name is Cliff Hodge (hodgie) and possibly 2 more players looking also.
217-827-1217 or ckhodge@consolidated.net sorry about that.
Hodge is a solid all around player pick him up quick
Can a player from Illinois play with a team out of michigan ?
Not unless he is a snowbird with a valid card. The states do not have a common land border that would qualify as a "bordering state".
If you look at Google Maps the Iowa Illinois border is a dotted line down the middle of the Mississippi River. In the middle of Lake Michigan there is a dotted line with the word Michigan on the east side and the word Illinois on the west side. An argument could be made that the Michigan/Illinois border is very much alike the Illinois/Iowa border according to Google Maps.
The difference, and the reason that theory fails every time, is that you can drive across each of those dotted lines on something known as bridges. We respond to this question quite frequently and the answer is always the same: MI and IL are NOT bordering states for roster composition matters. Thanks
I am located in Northern Illinois and would be interested in joining a team.
