May 2 joeysoftball13 13 posts | Can someone please clarify for me; if you play for say a 55 Major team, and want to play for a 55 AAA team on a weekend that the Major team isn't playing, can you be on both the 55 Major and 55 AAA rosters? Or do you have to be in (2) different age Divisions to play for say 55 Major and 50 AAA? |
May 2 SSUSA Staff 3501 posts | jeysoftball13 • We answered a question VERY similar to this on 02/21/17 ... The general rule (subject to the exception below) is that you may NOT be on two separate rosters simultaneously in the same age group ... Exception • Only with a valid "Snowbird" card for the current year if the teams are in the same age group ... If both teams qualify to attend any of the four qualified roster events, the Eastern or Western National's, the World Masters Championships and/or the TOC, you must elect which single team you will play with ... However, you MAY play for two separate teams in different age groups if you are otherwise eligible as to age, residency and team rating history experience for both teams ... If you have specific questions about your own situation, please call the Sacramento Home Office at (916) 326.5303 during normal business hours on the Left Coast and ask to talk with one of the eligibility specialists .. Good luck! |
