Discussion: Steve Marshal passing

I received my SSUSA Newsletter via email today and learned of Steve Marshal's passing on February 2nd. It was a sad moment for me as I played ball with Steve on OTD in Arizona and he was a tough ball player and a good man. I was happy when he married and even though we had not talked for some time, he will stand out as one of the players I appreciated knowing in the long time acquaintances of playing tournament ball.

God rest your should old friend.

Ed,
I too was sad to hear of Steve's passing. Also played with Steve on OTD.

Bruce Bucher
Hi Ed and Bruce, It was a shock to everyone here in Tucson. He had just played ball the Sunday before he passed and seemed to be in good shape. It was sad to learn today that his 97 year old mother passed last Wed. leaving behind his father.

Paul Land

Hi Paul, Do you by chance have an address for his father so that we can send him a card? Must be a significant load for his father to deal with now.

Best to all the boys & family of OTD.

Ed
Attended Steve's and Mom's service Sunday evening. Spoke with Steve's wife and his father. They are surely devastated but seemed to enjoy the company of family and friends that were able to make the service. Steve the Bandits want to remind you of something, "UNLOCK, UNLOAD, UNLEASH IT!! (Means something special to the Bandits Team that Steve was such a big part of for so many years)
