Discussion: Outfield Reqs on 11 player teams

Hello everyone,

I'm new here, and relatively new to softball, and I can't find an answer to a simple question so I'm posting it here.

Our 60+ and 65+ leagues play with 11 on-field players, with four of them in the outfield (not counting a Rover). Are these four outfield players required for D, or can one/some of them be brought into the infield, leaving three or less in the outfield? One guy wrote an article about it and said he likes to bring in one of those four outfielders to play infield, but I thought four in the outfield was a req for SSUSA play, but I can't find a rule on it anywhere. I know someone(s) on here can 'field' this question, pun intended.

thanks
