Earlier today I spoke with someone from the Huntsman World Senior Games about the software they used last year for tracking softball results. Even though it was used for the first time for softball, they said they've used it for three years for volleyball. The company is Advanced Event Systems from NY. Brad Preston is the contact and his email is brad@advancedeventsystems.com. They do not sell the software but charge a per team fee. Last year there were over 300 teams at the HWSG and ONE LADY entered all the game results over the two week period. For those who tracked their team and other team results, you had the info before finishing desert each night.
The link to the HWSG results is this. https://www.advancedeventsystems.com/EventResults/(S(25hru1nqxo4wwh45sxhvwlvw))/Home.aspx?e=MjAxNV9IdW50c21hbl9Xb3JsZF9TZW5pb3JfR2FtZXNfX19Tb2Z0YmFsbA2

I have no idea what their fees are, but do know it's based on the number of teams and how often AES is used for an organization during the year. I imagine if SSUSA had a 500 team tournament, SSUSA could divide the AES cost by the number of teams and most players would be willing to pay a few extra bucks to the manager to get timely results. The SSUSA budget would not have to take a hit.

Please do not get in touch with Brad. I am posting this topic here instead of going directly to Sacramento, so all those veteran players can be the squeaky wheel to get SSUSA to at least look into something like this. There would be no guarantee that a single email to them would be acted on.

Definitely needed to be implemented for the Worlds. We waited way too long to see the results for the 50 AAA. This would be a great enhancement to the overall experience!
