| June 23 Perl 212 posts | Not long ago a young lady named Mena was attached by a dog. Mena is the grand daughter of Steve Belcher, coach of the Strykers 60's team. In a ceremony this weekend at the Peach State Classic in Marietta Ga. The Columbus LX team gave the Belcher family tickets to Six Flags over Ga and a very nice cash gift. This is an example of what makes senior softball such a great blessing. Well done C-LX. Steve and Mena, many prayers have been said for your family and we will continue to pray for a full recovery. |

| June 24 southpaw Men's 70 1077 posts | Perl, for some reason, after I arrived back home yesterday, I could not access this message on my computer. I went ahead and entered my thoughts, but could not read your's until this morning. My family and I truly appreciate your thoughts and prayers. As you know, I had gall bladder surgery 2 days before Mena's difficulty and then on May 25 had a crisis with my pancreas. 6 days in the hospital and almost left twice! Doing well now, but do need continued prayers. To all the softball community: faith and prayers and the mercy of Our Lord is really important. God bless you all. |
