Have you found players as my friend and I might be able to play. He plays shortstop on our team, and I play outfield. Our team did not have enough players.

Discussion: Speed up rules

I am a volleyball official and you can speed up games. Encourage players to hustle in and out at the plate before the game starts. Do the flip 15 minutes before hand (or as soon as other game is over) (don;t start the clock yet). This will get both teams moving and fielders on the field. Warm ups in volleyball are 16 minutes. Over the years I have figured out it takes around 22 minutes for a 16 minute warm up. they have to gather 3 times to shake hands, warm up, etc.

Remind the players over and over (if you want to get in 7 innings, we need to hustle in and out)

If any argument comes up between the books, don't get involved unless they can not settle it (unless it effects the next batter).

Discussion: Midwest Championship Rogers Ark

My question on Saturday is why were the games still 1 hour 15 instead of a shorter time since the games were only 5 innings. If they would have been shorter and you might have got all the pool games in on Saturday. We waited every time for the umpire to show up to start the game. Only 1 game started 8 minutes early. Otherwise both teams just stood around. When the games got behind on 1 field why not move games to some of the other open fields on Saturday? I agree we got ripped paying the money we did and only getting 5 inning games. Long way to travel to lose 12 innings of play (which is 2 games). We also were not happy we had to go to Rogers. KC is more in the middle of all the teams.

So what level player? Is AAA 55 ok? Might have a 55 outfielder (really fast) and a decent utility player

If you need a player, I would be willing to play any of those positions and will be at the Midwest Tournament anyway with as a spectator.

I would ask for a refund of 1/2 to 1/3 of your money. Not your fault it rained. They saved money not paying umpires for those games.

They have never posted the vegas results and now that page is gone. Only the top 4. The picture idea is so easy and would take minutes. Why make it hard?

The director at Lakeland did all he could to keep the games on time with the rain issues. Sadly my wife came with me for some nice weather and it was cold every day. Rainy one of them and the last day she had on her winter clothes from the midwest. A lot of teams are not coming back in the future because the weather has been bad 3 years in a row, but this was the worst. I know they have a contract until 2021, but maybe see if they can move it to the fall instead. Having it in February for the midwest teams means they have not played since October.

I am not sure why the tournament director at each location at all the tournaments can not just take a picture of the bracket with their cell phone and then post it on the web page. Would this be too easy? I know we are all old, but it is not that hard if I can do it.
