JamesLG you can pre-order them now online at classicspringtraining.com, they list for 199.95. Well worth the extra 20 you paid for your U2.If you want to talk to me you can call me at 317-281-0734.

Discussion: Reebok Senior Bat

I been trying out this new Reebok Seniors bat this week and it is the hottest thing I have ever swung. Tuesday
evening I hit 25 out of 40 balls over 320 ft. I hit 3 or 4 400 ft. Those of you who know me will say that I can hit that far with anything, but I'm here to tell you that this bat is special. Our pitcher swung it and he is not a power hitter, 5'9" 170 lbs, and hit one 330 ft. He also says its the hottest thing he has ever swung. This bat is a 29 oz. endload and he normally swings a 26 oz.
Right now i have 190 swings on it and it still looks brand new. My suggestions to all the seniors out there, GET ONE NOW!!!!!!!!

Discussion: best weight training to improve hitting

I just turned 50 and trian 4 nights a week. I have learned over the years to listen to my body. I do each body part once a week. I do 4 sets of 10 of 3 different movements for each body part. This is just a outline. Legs are the most important part of a powerhitter. So I do legs when I feel the strongest. My workout is as follows. Monday-Legs/Shoulders, Tuesday cardio/abs, Wednesday-Chest/Triceps, Thursday-cardio/abs, Friday-Back/Biceps. During the season when I am traveling on Fridays I skip Thursdays workout. Also during the season I do a routine called 21. Do 1 set of each body part 21 reps. So on chest/triceps day I will do 1 set of bench - 21 reps and 1 set of triceps -21 reps. This helps keep my strength and keeps me from over training. The biggest problem I see I in older guys is over training. I'm a big guy 6'5" 275 lbs and have been training for over 30 years. Listen to your body!!!!!!

Gary33, enjoy the victory. If and when you guys start thinking about next year give me a shout. We should have been the team you guys played for the championship. We lost 2 games by 1 run down there.

I have broke 4 Ultra's this year - the last one on the first swing out of the wrapper. It was a 28 maxload red Ultra II. I have since switched bats to the newest one on the market. Its hotter and seems like its more durable. E-mail me and I can give you the details.

I hit this bat in Dalton over the weekend and it is HOOOOOOOOOT!!!!! I swung it 11 times hit 8 bombs, 4 of which are still going, 2 line drives and 1 that would have been a hard out. The best senior bat I have ever swung. If this bat is more durable , look out MIKEN here comes REEBOK. I swing a endloaded 29 oz.
