DieselDan I read the update on the retesting of the player and you are right read the article then judge . Jon44 also was right also the reporter from the St George News reported guidelines were not being followed by some and they were allowed to do it as were some teams. I have my opinion on this but I will keep them to my self. Guidelines only work when they are followed and enforced. As Jon44 said we have a choice to play or not play we all know the risk we are taking.I plan on playing in St George then I will see if playing this year is for me. If it is not I won't complain about it on this message board nobody forced me to go everyone stay safe

Wow two tests two different results. But what do I know I am not a doctor.St George will be our first tourney after five cancellations. I want to play but I will see for myself how safe it is. If it looks like guidelines. are being followed and enforced then I continue if not then it is like you say stay home pretty simple. As far as this story it is not a rumor it happened as far as I can tell..I am glad the player is ok. Like I have stated we lost a nephew to this virus would'nt wish on anybody stay safe

Thank you for the info. I read the article and that is a chance we take. Instead of waiting for the covid results they decide playing softball is more important so they go to the tourney before getting the test results. The player test is positive now you don't know how many others are infected. How selfish. I hope as Senior players we have more of a regard for our fellow players. Our family has lost a nephew to covid and he wasn't old. I am glad you put this out shows us we have to be aware and be safe and have respect for other players

I know it's early but I am getting ready to make reservations for Mesquite. I had to cancel four times already on other tourneys so I hope this one is a go. Not complaining no one at fault that's just how it is now. Thanks to SSUSA for fighting to keep our season alive it has to be tough. Just asking if anyone has a feel of how it is in Nevada. I've heard bits and pieces but I don't know. In our state Senior Softball Leagues are shut down reason being too much of a liability afraid of lawsuits. For those of you who have been lucky enough to play that's great be sure to be safe

Agree with you jimperry19 man just asked a question. Do I agree with his question NO. But at the same time it is just a question.Years back when I joined SSUSA they stressed if you post do it with respect. If you disagree with a post do it with respect. A few years back two Seniors were banned for a little while from the message board because of their remarks towards others. Wow how times have changed. SSUSA was quick to point this out. Now everything is acceptable on this board. What happened SSUSA. Yea I know if I don't like don't get on.
