| March 7, 2018 ESteiner25 | Topic: Rules of the game Discussion: pitcher getting hit As a pitcher, I understand the risk of standing in the middle of the infield. I have been hit my fair share, some ended up being ESPN worthy defensive plays. Others, well that ball is hard and it does hurt for a while. One thing I have noticed, I have not been hit by many opposing pitchers! I would say 99% of the time it is someone who does not have to worry about being on the receiving end of payback. |
