Discussion: Southpaw's One- day Practice Tourney/Alabama

I am interested in playing in this one-day practice tourney. I am an outfielder who has played with several teams in the past few years. Can play 70 or 65. Current team is not playing in this tourney. I live in Knoxville but will travel to play. Thanks for any consideration.

Discussion: Looking for a 65+ Tournament Team.

Our 65+ team has disbanded and I am currently rostered on a 60 AAA team but believe I might be more help to a 65+ team. Not to sound like a superstar, but I am adequate at best in the outfield, I can play all positions but have a below average arm. I have average speed and might be considered a punch and judy hitter.... with warning track power. I still like to compete and am very dependable, except for when those damn injuries creep up. Live in TN and have played tournament ball for the past several years. If you have a spot or need a player leave a note and I will get back with you.

Discussion: Whats the proper format?

OK here goes, Score tied at the end of 6 innings, time has expired so what is the next step.
1) Start 7th inning with man on second and have open inning. 2) Start 7th inning as open inning, no runner on second. 3) Start 7th inning as an extra inning with man on second and not an open inning. Not sure of what is the proper format.

Discussion: Turning 65 looking to join 65AAA team.

I will be turning 65 this year and am looking to join a 65AAA team for the end of the year and those following. Have played the last 4 seasons with Boys of Summer out of Knoxville TN. Play outfield and still run pretty well. Looking to play tournaments and willing to travel as needed. I can be reached at 865-250-9370 if you have a position for a new player. Thanks alot.

Jeff

There are a couple of tournament teams in the Knoxville area, Tennessee 60's and Boys of Summer. You should be able to contact one of them.

Yash...

Sorry but the Spa World Championship is that same weekend in Georgia, and I have committed to another team for that weekend.

Have decided to seek another team. Currently was with Tennessee Softball and have decided to move on due to lack of players on the team. Played 10 years in Florida Half Century and now play out of Tennessee. I am willing to travel to play tournaments. 61 years old and in pretty good shape.
