| May 19, 2018 64stones | Topic: Tournaments Discussion: Loudon I must say it was insane that this tournament wasn’t cancelled. We played 2- 5 inning games with a 40 min time limit in extremely poor weather and field conditions. The grounds crew did all they could but it was ridiculous. I personally saw 2 guys loose their hat while swinging, guys were slipping and falling all over. We all want to play, if we didn’t we still wouldn’t be at this age. But most of us have to go back to work and support our families and to risk injury in these playing conditions is crazy. Is the money made running this more important ??
