I am not big on social media but this young man deserves recognition. I was in Kansas City, KS this past weekend at the new Home Field Baseball complex watching the 60's play and I watched a player from Colorado Peaks team come up to bat and hit a ball that I measured to be 400+ feet. He barley missed putting it onto the other field. The next game I watched, he hit one that looked even further to the upper trees in left field. From what I was told, he was hitting homeruns like that all weekend.
After his game, I decided to go talk with him and found out that his name is Kevin Bourgeois and he lives in Phoenix, Arizona. He is a player with Onyx and of course I looked him up to make sure I spelled his last name correctly. He was the most genuine, friendly guy I've met in a long time. I was not familiar with Onyx bats, so he explained how Onyx got started and what bats they currently sell.
Thank you Mr. Bourgeois, Onyx is lucky to have you and I hope to run into you again someday!

Thank you Joe for the kind words. It was a pleasure talking with you. Like I mentioned, the next time I come to Kansas City for a tournament, I will try and setup an ONYX bat demo day. I do this quite often allowing players to swing some of the hottest bats out there. It was a nice surprise to see so many players were swinging ONYX.
Take care,
Kevin Bourgeois
