I am not sure how the new roster rule for tournaments is applied. I know if you enter your team and don't have an online roster, then you must play the next higher classification for that tournament. However, if you wanted to add or delete a player after the registration closing date, does this also apply of having to move to the next higher classification for that tournament.

It does not have any application in the example you mentioned of wanting to add a player to your roster after the deadline ... Contact the eligibility department like you normally do, by email and/or phone, and they'll be happy to help you add more players who are otherwise eligible as to age, residency and player rating history experience ...
