| Aug. 29 lisab522 Women's 50 9 posts | For next year, if there's any possibility, it would be awesome if the International Coed tournament was not the same weekend as the women's. I don't know about field and staff availability but if you could schedule it like Sept 25-27 (Mon-Wed) after the 40s but before the 50s, I know of quite a lot of players who would be interested in playing (both men and women). |
| Aug. 29 DaveDowell Men's 70 4328 posts | lisab522 ... The SSUSA World's is a 15-day competitive event spanning 18 days ... The first 11 tournament days occur without a day off on the calendar ... Then there are three "down days" for the staff to re-group before the 50's Men and Women and the International Co-ed come in for the last four days ... I'm reasonably confident that the over/under on how many staff and executive types at SSUSA who would support moving the International Co-ed into those treasured days off would not exceed 0.5 persons! ... And the first 11 days do not have adequate game slot inventory to absorb that division ... Plan on International Co-ed in Session #4 again next year ... |
