July 28 TooOldToFight Men's 60 24 posts | A shout out to Terry Hennessy and Tim McElroy for an extremely well run tournament at the Tues.- Thurs. Potomack Lakes portion of the Eastern Nationals. Games were on time, communication was very good, directors were on site and available, fields were watered and raked between each game, and the umpiring was good and very consistent. The icing on top is that all pool play and bracket scores are available online. I know many of us feel that's an important and fun piece of the puzzle to be able to look back and see how each team fared against one another. Having scores updated real time would be the piece de resistance down the road, but I'm good with what we have for now. Thanks for a job well done guys. |

Aug. 3 Z Man Men's 60 20 posts | Kudos to Tim McElroy and staff for an outstanding job in Sterling, VA. Very organized event, great communication and fantastic job by the ground crew for keeping fields in tip top shape the entire tournament. |
Aug. 7 BruceinGa Men's 70 3236 posts | I had a problem with mud by the first base dugout created by a sprinkler head. I asked the base umpire if we could correct it and between innings the grounds crew fixed it. Great tournament!! |
