Texas State Championships
I know SSUSA has had to cancel tournaments based on state or local rules due to Covid-19. How far in advance do you require a commitment from a location in order to ensure the site will be available for play. Some players on my team are concerned that they will get told at the last minute that a site has cancelled even though it previously committed within 2 weeks of the tournament. Thanks for any information you can give.

If this tournament did get canceled, could a team change to the Western Championships?

The general and practical rule of thumb is we require a minumum of two weeks (14-days) advance time for the critical administration items that probably very few, if any, of you are aware have to occur ... If a municipal or state entity can't/won't give us a firm "GO MODE" indication at the two-week countdown date, we'll generally have to fold that up and move to the next one ... Classic examples recently were the Northwest (Syracus and NY State squabbling) and the Midwest (Rogers, AR and it's neighboring cities and states) ... We did have a bit more time in Aurora because of the letter from them saying they were absolutely NOT hosting through August and more likely not through the end of the calendar year ... Who knows what Texas will bring? ... We sure don't until we see the implementation of the next great solution! ...

As to switching up to the Western Championships, I would suggest calling the SSUSA Office at dawn or so tomorrow! ... I published the Eastern's schedules over the last two days and next up in my laser scope is the Western's ... I'd prefer to only do it once, so if you want in, earlier is my advice!

Alamo ... Refresh your download ... Those have been fixed ... There's also a change in the 50-Major Round Robin seeding game schedule to correct my prior omission of a timely email "Later Start Request" by one team ... These got finished late last night after my "Ace Proofing Checker" (Fran) was already in bed and she worked her magic this morning! ... Thanks ...

Wednesday and Thursday games need to be reviewed for the 70's, it looks like you were trying to just changed fields but you made them the same.
