Discussion: Ratings

Was looking at ratings and just curious why there were ratings all the way back to 2008 on ages. If they haven't played in recent tournaments or registered in the last couple of years why are they still on the ratings? I know that can't be that hard to change or correct.
The reason is for SSUSA to be able to maintain the complete player history data on all players still active from those teams at those times ...
If a team has not submitted a roster in 3 years and the players are on another roster or not played in a tournament and since you have a player data base that should tell you what roster they are. Maybe I am thinking that it is simple to correct but it looks like the computer would be able to handle the correction by checking to roster of the team and where or if they are still playing and for what team.
