just want to make sure on the 5 runs - when are they awarded? some have started down runs at start of game others are awarded during the games

For SSUSA sanctioned play, the 5-Run equalizer is awarded at one run for each inning played for innings #2 through #6 ... It's on the "cash basis", meaning if the game only goes five innings, the equalizer would be only four runs, and not two runs in the 5th ... Hope this helps ...
