Fun tourny....thanks to Tom and Donnie for hosting a well run tournament. That was not easy with so many teams and only 4 fields. Most players understood that and were patient. Thanks again....see you in Vegas!

I second that sentiment-- must have been so difficult with so many teams and so few fields. I had a very good time and thought things ran smoothly. San Clemente is such a great venue, so no surprise so many teams wanted to participate.
Jon44 ... Glad you had a good time, and yes, it was a very complex "make it fit" situation! ... It wasn't one I was supposed to write until I got a "surprise call" while working the Eastern's in Valdosta, GA, asking for bail-out help ...The event was over-subscribed, and just because it CAN be done doesn't necessarily mean it SHOULD be done that way ... LOL! ... Those kind of hours are really tough on the Directors and the long gaps between games were unavoidable .. Hopefully next year it will be either a more-manageable number or a second facility! ...
High Fives to Donnie and his crew, including Umpires. We play this Tourney to Qualify Players and prepare for The Worlds. Donnie and his staff did a fine job of staging the Tourney with only 4 Fields to work with !
