April 9 DaveDowell Men's 70 4323 posts | Thanks, el viejo 50 ... All game scores and bracket results are also available from the links on the event Tournament page of this website ... Congrats to the Champions and thank you to all who competed! ... |
April 9 txnighttrain 120 posts | It was quite windy. We got 50 base on balls over 9 games. |
Sept. 20 Nancy Allen Men's 55 1438 posts | Dave, the best 2 out of 3 for the 2 60 AA teams was not in the Tournament link. Now why would I find that of interest? |
Sept. 20 DaveDowell Men's 70 4323 posts | Nancy ... It's on an environmentally sensitive (Ha!) "shared page" for the two Best 2 of 3 Series we had in that event ... Look at the bottom half of Page 5 of the 40/50/55 file link ... Austin Wizards won ... |
Sept. 20 Nancy Allen Men's 55 1438 posts | Thanks, Dave. I found it the news article before I posted this. I just wanted to prove what kind of idiot I am. |
Sept. 20 Nancy Allen Men's 55 1438 posts | My 2 man partner and I are going to Phoenix to officiate the 60 division. I just wanted more information. |
Sept. 20 Wayne 37 Men's 65 773 posts | I am #33 on the Wizards if you really want to know. Anything else you need? That way it won't require a side conversation. Bring your rulebook. |
Sept. 21 Wayne 37 Men's 65 773 posts | Nancy and BJ, I'm sure you are proficient at the basics of umpiring. Fair/Foul. Ball/Strike. Safe/Out. It's the both of you and your misinterpretations of several rules that I take issue with. I'm simply taken back by two people that have a combined 40 years experience don't know these things, not to mention your strange obsession with me. We can always agree to disagree, but running down my experience as a well respected umpire in my various associations over the years is totally uncalled for. Attacking someone's character of those you don't know isn't a good look by either of you. Are you implying that the both of you are going all the way to Phoenix to personally antagonize me? They have a word for that. It's called stalking. Y'all just need to take some deep breaths and calm down! Here is a link of discussions of several different sports by several veteran and learned officials. If you don't believe me, join up and ask them. As a matter of fact, anybody else this forum can join and ask questions. Please be advised in advance they can be a tough crowd. https://forum.officiating.com/ Not an advertisement. Simply a learning tool. |
