Jan. 24 kel 31 posts | I haven't seen much dialog regarding the Easton Stealth CNT Plus bat on the message board. Playing mostly USSSA tournaments last year, it was certainly the bat of choice for most teams. Being this will be my first year in the 50's, I would assume this bat can be used for SSUSA sponsored events? Can someone confirm or deny this statement. Also, can the original Combat Da Bomb ( blue model "not" sold by Anaconda) be used at SSUSA events? |
Jan. 24 The Pro 81 posts | Both bats you mentioned are "legal" in all Senior Associations, except ASA. Fact is however, the Ultra II and Senior Combat are the bats of choice in SSUSA, LVSSA, SPA and I think ISA. Although the Easton Stealth CNT Plus is an excellent bat it cannot perform like the ULTRA II or Senior Combat. |
Jan. 24 kel 31 posts | Pro....just to clarify one comment you made about the Combat. The New Blue Original Da Bomb that is sold now through SportsDiamond ( not through Anaconda) does not have the 1.20 BPF stamped on the bat. So are you saying that it still can be used for SSUSA sponsored events even without that stamp of approval? |
Jan. 24 The Pro 81 posts | Not sure on that, but If it's legal in USSSA it's legal in Senior Associations. |
Jan. 25 taits Men's 65 4548 posts | Should be no problem at all. Only 6 are not legal that I know of. Miken greys; bal and max load Four Titanium's from the earlier days by Easton, TPS, Worth & one other, but I forget who made it. |
Jan. 25 koived 41 posts | The Da bomb from combat blue/silver is not legal in ssusa. Only the one sold by anacondasports is legal. silver/gray |
Jan. 25 taits Men's 65 4548 posts | Guess I misssed one, but I have seen it used.... The original has either a black or grey knob, right? One was the first issue the other second...I forget which is which. |
Jan. 25 tattooball 774 posts | Combat senior bats. The only combat senior bat that is approved by ssusa, spa, sslv, isa, fhc, fsl, and any others that allow the ultra II are the anaconda sports exclusive model. They are only available at anaconda sports, guru sports and kelly sports. These are the only autorized dealers for this bat. |
