Oct. 15 garyheifner 653 posts | Do we have this rule Staff In the American league play off game last night the catcher was throwing the ball to the pitcher with a runner on 3rd. The ball hit the hitters bat, rolled out on the field and the runner ran home. Ruling-live ball runs scores. What would happen if this happened in SSUSA? How about if a throw from the catcher to pitcher hits the batter in the head and rolls out there which I have seen? |
Oct. 15 DOLFAN 92 posts | Do we have this rule I'm going to say NO, because once the pitcher pitches the ball and the batter doesn't swing at it and it lands on the ground it becomes time out or dead ball and nothing is in play again until the pitcher starts to pitch the next pitch...I'm not a umpire but just guessing. |
