Oct. 8 RaptorPete 6 posts | My question is the ISA/ASA authorized use of a designated hitter. I can remember reading something about a DH in a softball rules/regulations book but I cannot find it again. Could someone please provide me with a reference and information about the use of a DH in Senior Softball. Personally I think that if a person cannot play defensively and can only bat and when they get to first base they require a substitute runner then they should not be allowed to play until they are healthy enough to compete in a total game. But anyway a reference, if there is one, to designated hitters would be appreciated. |
