I was just wondering if ssusa are still using the 44/375 softballs for the 2014 season?

Yes
Ya sure, if you consider the ISA xrock a 44/375. (It's not)
Gelpas here in the SE we use the Trump Stote for ssusa softball. I guess the west coast hit the harder rock. I'll hit the rock 20 to 30 ft. further than I would the stote.
Trump Stote is a terrible ball here in the South in the summertime. Heat and humidity here in the South kills the ball in the hot summer months.

I'm just saying.

Agreed; the ball feels like it has a very low COR. There's no bounce or rebound to it; it's like hitting a wooden croquet ball.
And without any flex to it there will probably be even more broken bats.
All in all very disappointing, also just saying.
Patty Mac is right,The heat does effect the Trump Stotes. The heat basically effects any ball when it is hot enough. The X-Rock still has the Microcell tech. That is why the ball will play whether it is cold or hot. After the SSUSA joined with LV senior softball you saw more and more X-Rocks. The core compression can drop 50 points if it is hot enough. I have done the testing for it before. I myself would ask for the X-Rock when it is extreme hot but that is just me. Directors buy what best fits their budget. Just my input on the situation..
